The most frequently asked question by our patients with missing teeth at our clinic is clear: “Doctor, how long will it take to get my new tooth?” Previously, implant treatment was associated with a process requiring patience, ranging from 6 months to 1 year. However, with modern dentistry and the advanced technologies we use at Dr. Aslı Kumru’s clinic, “waiting for months” is no longer a necessity.
Here are our new generation approaches that accelerate the implant process and increase comfort:
1. Same-Day Dental Procedure: Immediate Implant and Loading
In the classic method, the tooth is extracted, a 2-3 month waiting period is observed for bone healing, then an implant is placed, followed by another 3-month waiting period.
- The Next Generation Difference: If your bone structure is suitable, we place the implant in the same session as the tooth extraction (Immediate Implant). In many cases, we even place a temporary tooth on the implant the same day, allowing you to leave our clinic with teeth.
- The benefit: A time saving of 3 to 6 months.
2. Rapid Integration with Ceramic Implants
Zirconium implants, which we frequently prefer in our clinic in accordance with the principles of biological dentistry, demonstrate excellent biocompatibility with the body.
- Speed Factor: These metal-free implants form a much faster and healthier bond with the gums. They minimize the risk of gum recession while accelerating the aesthetic process.
3. Supportive Treatments That Accelerate Healing: Ozone and CGF Therapy
The most important factor determining the duration of implant treatment is how quickly your body integrates the implant with the bone.
- Ozone Therapy: Increases blood flow and oxygen levels in the application area, reducing the risk of infection to near zero and shortening healing time by 30-50%.
- CGF (Concentrated Growth Factor): Natural healing cells obtained from your own blood accelerate bone formation around the implant. This biologically shortens the “waiting period”.
4. “Zero Defects” Through Digital Planning
Digital scanners and 3D planning are our greatest aids in shortening surgical operation times.
- Guided Surgery: The placement of the implant is planned in advance using a computer. Flapless methods, which do not require stitches during the operation, can be used, significantly reducing postoperative swelling and pain and shortening the recovery time.

“How long will my process take?”
Remember, every mouth is unique. Your bone density, systemic health, and the number of missing teeth determine the implant timing. However, thanks to advanced technology, we can now achieve much faster and more biologically successful results, even in the most complex cases.
